Website Design and Development Production Slows Down for Thanksgiving
Colophon New Media will be taking time off over the Thanksgiving break. We will be turning off most systems in the office by 11:00 AM on November 21 and returning to the office the afternoon of Monday 11.26.
Charleston's growing and business community has been seeking out website development services at a steady pace in 2007. From our perspective, the market is robust, innovative and bullish. Our web Application Development Department (ADD) has been creating exciting new modules to streamline business process and help improve customer service.
Recently we began development on a web project that we have named "Employee Application System" or EAS. EAS will ease the burden of the employee application process - by offering a website that allows employees and their new hires to interact online.

Weddings in Charleston, SC
I have heard a number of different things regarding weddings held here in Charleston,SC. Some say it is the number 1 destination for weddings in the country. Other say number 2 or 3. Whatever the stats, there is no doubt that Charleston is a spectacular destination for your wedding.
Climate is clearly an advantage for weddings. Charleston's summers are a bit to steamy for a comfortable wedding, but from September to late November and then from March to May the weather is delightful. Wedding venues come in all varieties. Free-flowing beachside events are loads of fun. Or for the more formal affair, Charleston boasts some of the most posh and classy venues in the country.
Catering vendors are very good in Charleston. Many of the venues offer on-site catering service, or one of the many local culinary experts can handle your wedding day treats.

Built on the back of slave labor, local plantation owners and merchants amassed huge fortunes, built huge homes and left a bitter sweet legacy. Restaurants in Charleston, SC
Charleston Seafood Report
Charleston SC has a variety of very high quality restaurants to choose from. Seafood is of course a staple of the local Charlestonians. Hanks Seafood Restaurant is my favorite. Delightfully lively atmosphere, satisfying cuisine and helpful, friendly professional service. Love it!
A Good Steak is Not Hard To Find
Charleston has a host of great steak restaurants. I personally don't think that cooking a tastey steak very difficult, and therefor the $40 price tag for a filet at some places seems too high. Having said that, the ambience of some Charleston restaurants can go a long way to making the steak dinner really a pleasant experience. I would rather eat downtown and pay 20% more for the food, than sit in a strip mall somewhere and feel like I got a good deal. Walking out of a restaurant into a big parking lot can be a bummer.
So, where do we find charm, high quality steak and fixin's as well as top-quality service? Hands down, it's got to be High Cotton on East Bay Street, Charleston, SC. This classic Charleston in plantation style is a winner.
